YOUTH E-CIGARETTE PREVENTION PROGRAM

CATCH My Breath is a youth vaping prevention program designed to educate middle and high school students about the dangers of e-cigarette use and nicotine addiction. Developed by the CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) Global Foundation, this evidence-based program provides schools and communities with tools to prevent vaping among young people.

  • Grade-Level Adaptability: The program is designed for students in grades 5–12 with age-appropriate content.
  • Science-Based Curriculum: Lessons focus on the health risks of vaping, marketing tactics used by tobacco companies, and skills to resist peer pressure.
  • Interactive Learning: The program includes classroom activities, discussions, videos, and peer-led teaching strategies.
  • Focus on Behavior Change: It encourages critical thinking and decision-making skills to help students make informed choices.
  • Free for Schools: Schools can access the program materials at no cost, thanks to funding from public health initiatives.
